Dr. Waseem is a professor of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York. He completed a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. His other educational achievements include a master’s degree in Clinical Investigation, Epidemiology, and Health Services Research from Cornell University in New York. He has served as the Research Director for the Department of Emergency Medicine and as vice chair of the IRB at Lincoln Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, for many years. He has also earned the following research-related certifications: Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA).
