Susan Beymer, MSML, is an Operational Project Manager with the UNC Health Office of Clinical Research, where she supports clinical research initiatives across the UNC Health enterprise. With more than 10 years of project management experience, she specializes in research program development, operational strategy, and study startup, partnering with investigators, sponsors, and multidisciplinary teams to expand research capabilities in community healthcare settings.

Susan has been instrumental in building and operationalizing the psychiatry research program at UNC Health Rex, establishing the infrastructure, processes, and stakeholder partnerships needed to support a growing portfolio of behavioral health clinical trials. Her work spans feasibility assessments, study startup, contracting, budgeting, recruitment planning, and cross-functional coordination across clinical and research support services. She also serves as a study coordinator for interventional clinical trials, bringing both operational leadership and firsthand research experience to her work.
