Jeanette Carter is a cancer survivor and patient advocate. As a motivational speaker, she works to decrease the stigma around cancer in communities of color. Through her partnerships with the University of Illinois Cancer Center and the University of Chicago Medical Center, She has dedicated herself to increasing medical literacy and promoting genetic testing for African American women impacted by cancer.
