Joshua J. Cook, M.S. (DS), M.S. (CRM), CCRC, ACRP-PM, is a clinical research professional with 6+ years of clinical research experience, 9+ years in biomedical science, and 3+ years in data science. He currently serves as a clinical research coordinator in oncology research at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute and as an adjunct instructor at the University of West Florida.
His experience includes clinical trial coordination, feasibility review, external trial referral support, regulatory and IRB workflows, EDC/source documentation, monitoring support, data quality, and patient-centered research operations. He has coordinated studies across oncology, orthopedics, regenerative medicine, and neurology, and has supported clinical research startup, conduct, closeout, analysis, and dissemination.
His efforts earned him the 2023 ACRP Clinical Research Leadership Scholarship. He also teaches undergraduate anatomy, physiology, biology, and clinical research/data science content, mentors undergraduate research teams, and develops educational materials focused on clinical research operations, data science, and translational research.
