Shaily brings over 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical drug development with a unique depth of expertise in vaccines, including extensive work with novel delivery platforms. At Vaxart, Inc., she played a key leadership role in advancing an innovative oral vaccine platform targeting respiratory and infectious diseases by overseeing cross-functional efforts across clinical development and operations, regulatory affairs, and program management and guiding the company’s vaccine candidates from early to later stage development. Throughout her career, Shaily has contributed to programs across a wide range of therapeutic areas including infectious diseases and vaccines, oncology, ophthalmology, gastrointestinal disorders, pain, and addiction.
