He is the founder of DiversiTrials, a CRO focused on practical trial execution, site partnership, and trust-centered operations, and serves as Chief Strategy Officer for Clinical Research Pro, where he supports training programs for current and emerging clinical research professionals. His work often focuses on the gap between documented compliance and real-world competence, including how teams make decisions under pressure, recognize quality risk, and communicate across sponsor, CRO, vendor, and site roles. Mitchell has presented nationally on topics including health literacy, risk-based thinking, cognitive bias, and clinical trial quality.
