Currently, Dr. Kim McCall is an Assistant Professor and Biotechnology Regulatory Affairs Specialist in the UAB Department of Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences in the School of Health Professions. Her work is characterized by a deep commitment to community engagement, regulatory compliance, and the empowerment of diverse populations. Through her research and collaborative projects, she works closely with individuals, non-profits, local government leadership, city departments, and various community organizations to create positive change and enhance the well-being of those she serves. She also has vast experience in clinical trials, working at the VA and the PERC Program Grant, focusing on Promoting Enhanced Research Capacity for Global Health across 50 countries. As an innovative teacher, she is known for her dynamic presentations and use of varied technology in her teaching. She is a sought after speaker on regulatory affairs topics in the clinical research enterprise.
