Susan L. Mills, BS, is Senior Director of Clinical Operations at the Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer Network Trials Unit (DIAN-TU) at Washington University School of Medicine. She brings more than 25 years of experience leading global Phase I–IV clinical trials across academic and industry settings, with deep expertise in ICH-GCP compliance and complex operational delivery. Susan provides cross-functional leadership for DIAN-TU’s interventional platform trial targeting a rare, dominantly inherited form of Alzheimer’s disease. She leads global implementation of this innovative trial design, which simultaneously evaluates multiple therapeutics from collaborating pharmaceutical partners, with DIAN-TU serving as regulatory sponsor. She oversees integrated delivery across CROs, vendors, and Washington University’s internal teams supporting neuroimaging, fluid biomarkers, and clinical and cognitive assessments across international sites. She has played a key role in advancing prevention and treatment studies and is recognized for driving high-quality, inspection-ready trials that accelerate meaningful outcomes for patients.
