Korrey Monroe serves as the Research Program Manager at the North Carolina Community Health Center Association (NCCHCA). In this role, he works closely with the department director to promote innovative research that increases awareness and provides resources for underserved populations throughout North Carolina, especially in safety-net settings. In 2025, the research team completed a study investigating clinical research participation among underserved communities, engaging patients, community health workers, and primary care providers from safety-net organizations. Korrey earned his Master of Public Health in Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology from the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health in 2024. During his time in graduate school, he contributed to several research initiatives, including community-based participatory research and a clinical trial of underserved populations in Southeastern Michigan.
