Katie Moore is a research professional from Atlanta, GA, currently serving as the Research Operations Manager at Northside Hospital. Her role currently oversees the teams supporting clinical trials in oncology and cardiology across Northside's five-campus community system. Katie has experienced the rise in clinical trial complexity first-hand through the roles she has held while growing her research career for the past 12+ years. Being acutely aware of the gap researchers are left in between study initiation and real study conduct, she has collaborated with her colleagues to create and launch a bridging educational series, “Research 102”. Katie holds a BS in Biology with a certificate in Computational & Quantitative Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
