Kunal Sampat is the Founder of TrialForward, a patient recruitment company supporting clinical trial enrollment and study execution. He has more than 20 years of experience in clinical research, including global clinical trial operations, study startup, site engagement, patient recruitment, and cross-functional trial management. Kunal is also the creator and host of the Clinical Trial Podcast, where he interviews leaders across clinical operations, regulatory affairs, medical product development, clinical technology, and trial leadership. He serves as Interim Director of the Medical Product Development Management program at San Jose State University, where he teaches and mentors students and professionals pursuing careers in clinical research and medical product development. Kunal brings a practical operator’s perspective to clinical trial execution, with a focus on improving collaboration between sponsors, sites, vendors, and study teams.
