Session presenters play a critical role in the ACRP 2027 experience. To help ensure an effective and impactful session, please review the guidelines outlined below and in the Speaker PowerPoint template.

Presentation Guidelines

Review the guidelines to prepare your presentation and ensure a consistent, engaging experience for attendees.

Your session slides must be submitted on time. Email your presentation no later than January 20, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET.

Use the ACRP Template. All speakers must use the official ACRP 2027 PowerPoint template, which includes a slide for polling questions. ACRP does not provide polling software or on-site polling support.

Allow Time for Discussion. Please keep your formal presentation to 30-35 minutes and dedicate the final 10 minutes to Q&A and discussion. Slide decks for 45-minute presentations typically include 20-30 slides.

Plan for Special Requirements. If your presentation includes audio or video, or you have other technical or special requirements, contact ACRP staff in advance to discuss your needs. The template also includes effective presentation practices to help attendees engage with your content.

Speakers are encouraged to record a brief promo video about their session that offers a sneak peek into your content and inspires your peers to attend ACRP 2027. We are pleased to provide an easy-to-use platform for high-quality videos.

  • Only ONE video should be submitted per session.

  • Videos should not be longer than 75 seconds.

  • Record on a desktop or laptop, not a mobile phone. You will see prompts, tips, and a countdown timer to guide you.

  • For the best recording quality, use a stable, high-speed internet connection.

  • Be mindful of your background—something simple or an office setting with minimal noise and distractions is ideal. Since you can record multiple times, feel free to take your time to get it just right.

  • Ensure your session title is accurate before recording. If your session title was edited by ACRP, you were notified when your proposal was accepted. Please be sure to use the session title provided in your proposal acceptance email.

  • If your session involves multiple speakers, only one video submission is needed. Please refer to the video examples below to see how ACRP 2026 speakers recorded their promo video in different scenarios.

Submission Deadline: Please submit your video by Monday, October 19, 2026.

Promoting Your Presence at ACRP 2027

There are a few impactful ways you can help spread the word about your session—before and during ACRP 2027!

  • Your video will be featured on the ACRP 2027 website, including speaker and session pages, as well as in marketing emails and across social media channels. We will notify you of scheduled social media posts so you can share them with your professional network and extend their reach.

  • The ACRP Speaker Marketing Toolkit has graphics, draft copy, and tips for promoting your conference session to your networks via social media—and beyond. We make it easy to position yourself as a thought leader in clinical research!

  • When you’re in San Diego, feel free to ask someone sitting in the front of the room to take your photo while you’re on stage presenting. You’ll be glad you did… then post it on social media and brag about your accomplishment! ACRP does hire a professional photographer, but we cannot guarantee they will be able to cover every session and speaker.

  • After ACRP 2027, update your LinkedIn profile with your speaking role. Include your session topic, description, dates, and “Associated with ACRP - Association of Clinical Research Professionals” in the Projects section.
