Ellen Ziegemeier, MA, serves as the Global Outreach Lead for the Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer Network Expanded Registry (DIAN EXR) and the DIAN Trials Unit (DIAN-TU) at WashU Medicine. With over 12 years of experience leading the DIAN EXR, she oversees daily operations, strategic planning and budget tracking, and serves as primary outreach lead in Latin American engagement and international site expansion. Ellen manages the participant genetic counseling and testing program and the DIAN Mental Health support initiative and oversees participant referrals to DIAN study sites. By directly engaging with potential participants, she provides vital information and gathers feedback to optimize the study experience and boost retention. Additionally, she supports global family identification and educational support via the Exploratory Genetic Counseling and Testing (GCT) program and the execution of annual DIAD Family Conferences.
