The clinical research enterprise faces a growing challenge: identifying and developing dedicated professionals in a complex and rapidly evolving research environment when gaps may remain between prior education and experience in terms of practical competencies for the conduct of clinical trials. This session will provide organizational leaders, team managers, and trainers with a framework for building stronger pathways from candidate potential to workplace performance. Attendees will explore how to identify transferable skills, assess competency gaps, distinguish foundational from emerging competencies, and develop targeted approaches to onboarding and professional development.
