Rend A. Williams, MPH, PMP, is a clinical research leader with more than 20 years of experience on both the sponsor and CRO sides of drug development. She has directed oncology, hematology, and rare disease programs across the full trial lifecycle and advised emerging biotech organizations on CRO governance, workforce strategy, and operational design. As a former Vice President of Project Management, she reduced team attrition from 36% to 17% and grew a PM branch by 33%. She has published on CRO oversight models in ACRP Clinical Researcher (December 2025) and serves as Founder and Managing Director of a boutique clinical operations and leadership advisory firm in San Diego, CA.
